Application method

CIP systems help in efficient cleaning.

The equipment is pre-rinsed with clean water to remove loose dirt. Pre-rinsing with warm water, temperature not exceeding 55'C, is preferred. Pre-rinsing must be continued until the water leaving the system is clear. Normally 10 minutes is sufficient.

The equipment is then cleaned with a 1-2 % solution of Turbokleen - DAIRY at a temperature of 65-70'C for about 45-60 minutes. The exact dosage has to be determined by the end user, as it depends on the amount of dirt and residues present.

In manual cleaning, scrubbing by brushes aids cleaning process. In mechanised systems, a flow velocity of 1.5-3.0 m/s must be maintained for efficient cleaning.

Technical Data Sheet

The duration of cleaning for heat exchangers can be 20-60 minutes and for the walls of milk tank can be 10-15 minutes. Again, the exact duration has to be determined by the end user based on various trials.

Finally, the equipment must be thoroughly rinsed with clean soft water until all traces of detergent are flushed out.

Caution

It is advised to check suitability in equipments having copper, brass and tin parts.

Turbokleen - DAIRY can be safely used on stainless steel parts.

Storage & Shelf Life

Turbokleen - DAIRY must be stored in a shaded place at normal room temperatures. When stored in its original sealed container, it has a shelf life of at least 12 months. When the container is opened, it is advised to use the contents quickly. The container must be closed air-tight after every use.
